Enhancements

Enhancements are properties an item can have that make it a little (or a lot) better than you would normally expect. These (probably) range in quality from incredibly low to incredibly high. These can be naturally occurring, they can be added by a player with the tinker command, or they can be added by giving the item to the Tinkerer.

Enhancements added by the tinkerer will cost all of your current reputation with the Tinkerer faction, and the enhancement's quality can be as high as <your reputation>/<a number that may or may not be approximately 13636>, but will probably be less, given the nature of random.

11 <item> is a little lighter than normal 15% weight reduction melee weapon
<item> is a little more durable than normal crafted quarterstaff, osiris dagger
9 <item> very noticeably decreases the feeling of burden of its contents ?% reduction of weight added by contents clothing with pockets
3 <item> seems to decrease the feeling of burden of its contents a little ?% reduction of weight added by contents sack (clothing with pockets)
<item> has a barrel that is slightly shorter than normal 10% reduction in weight, ?% increase in damage, ?% decrease in accuracy shotgun
2 <item> is slightly lighter than normal 8% weight reduction melee weapon
2 <item> is slightly more durable than usual ?% increase in durability armour
3 <item> is slightly more hardened than normal ? armour
2 <item> is slightly more padded than normal ? armour
1 <item> has a barrel that is ever so slightly shorter than normal ?% increase in damage, ?% decrease in accuracy shotgun
1 <item> has a point that is ever so slightly sharper than normal ?% increase in damage piercing weapon
1 An incredibly low quality laser sight has been fitted to it. ?% increase in accuracy ranged weapon
1 <item> is ever so slightly lighter than normal 5% weigh reduction sharp weapon, blunt weapon (9 iron)
1 <item> is ever so slightly more durable than normal ?% increase in durability ranged weapon
1 <item> is ever so slightly more energy efficient than normal ?% reduction in fuel consumption? camp stove
1 <item> is ever so slightly more hardened ?% increase in protection? armour
1 <item> is ever so slightly more padded than normal ? armour
